How do you clean and tighten the chain of the Ducati Monster 600?

To properly clean the Ducati Monster 600 chain it is convenient to use white petroleum, which is not aggressive, and dry it with compressed air. Finally, remove all traces of the white oil with a rag. At this point it is necessary to loosen the nut of the rear wheel axle and adjust the chain adjusters: by unscrewing the latter the chain loosens, by screwing them the chain becomes tensioned. The chain must be tightened in order to obtain an excursion from a rest position to a tension position of approximately 25 mm. The system for measuring the excursion is shown on video.

In order to replace the battery of the BMW R 1250 GS it is necessary to loosen the bolts that secure the casing positioned on the left side of the bike, so that its cover can be removed. Once this has been removed, you will be able to access the components below, including the battery. The latter must be removed from its housing by disconnecting the power cables and unscrewing the appropriate fixing bolts. In this way it will be possible to insert a new battery, properly fixing it and connecting it to the relative cables, covering everything with the casing.
