Below are the main steps to perform the routine maintenance service by changing the engine oil and oil filter on the Ducati Hypermotard. First, place the bike on its stand and start by unscrewing the drain bolt located under the engine, allowing it to drain into a container for about ten minutes; then unscrew the oil filter cartridge, hand-tighten the new one, and secure it gently, as shown in the video.

Finally, unscrew the filler cap and top up with new oil!
