To change the engine oil of the Ducati Monster 797, loosen the drain plug located at the bottom centre of the bike. Once the plug is unscrewed, collect all the oil that drains into a container. Behind the oil drain, you will find the oil filter, which can be removed by unscrewing it counter-clockwise. This will allow you to insert the new filter and top up the oil. The new oil should be added through the filler on the left side of the bike.
