To replace the air filter on the Ducati Desert X, loosen the screws that secure the fuel tank to its housing: the screws are located at the front of the tank, on the front side, and underneath the seat. Once all these screws are loosened, you can lift the tank, disconnecting the appropriate hoses and connectors. This will allow access to the air filter box underneath, where the filter can be removed from its seat. After removal, insert the new replacement part and reattach the tank.
