To replace the rear shock absorber on the Ducati Desert X, you must completely detach the seat from its housing by loosening the screws that secure it: once the seat has been removed, you can leverage to detach the side panel corresponding to the seat, allowing access to the shock absorber underneath. The shock absorber can be removed from its position by loosening the nut that secures it at the top and bottom: at this point, insert the new replacement part, securing it with the appropriate screws.
