To replace the air filter on the Ducati Desert X, loosen the screws securing the fuel tank to its housing: the screws are located at the front of the tank, on the front side panels, and underneath the seat. Once all these screws are loosened, you can remove the tank by disconnecting the hoses and connectors underneath. This will allow you to open the air filter box and extract the filter from its housing. After removal, insert the new replacement part and reinstall all removed components.
