Changing the engine oil in the Ducati Monster 620, as shown in this tutorial, is an extremely simple and quick operation. First, wait until the engine is sufficiently cool to operate safely, then position a container beneath the bike, locate the drain hole bolt, and unscrew it with a 10mm hex key. Allow all the oil in the system to drain out, unscrew the old filter, and tighten the replacement.

At this point, simply reassemble everything and pour in the necessary amount of oil through the designated hole.
