First, wait for the engine to cool sufficiently, then position a container beneath the motorcycle, locate the drain plug, and open it by unscrewing the two bolts.

Allow the oil in the system to drain out, unscrew the secondary filter, and clean it of any dirt residue. At this point, open the main filter housing, replace it, and pour in the new oil through the designated hole.
