- Years 1999-2011 First lift the car with the jack on the side you prefer, unscrew the nuts and remove the wheel. With the correct wrench, loosen the screws holding the caliper, which will hold the worn pads. Open the caliper once removed from the attachment, remove the worn elements, push the piston inside, bringing it back to the starting point. Place the two new pads in the caliper and refit the same, tightening it in the housing using the two screws at the top and bottom. Then make sure you have operated correctly by checking that the brake disc is free to rotate without obstructions. Then switch to the second front wheel and follow the same instructions.
