Replacing Front Brake Pads on Fiat Punto

Model: Fiat Punto MK 2, 188 - Years 1999-2011

Lift the bonnet and insert the support rod. Unscrew the cap of the brake fluid reservoir. After raising the car, remove the affected front wheel by unscrewing the 19 mm bolts. Use a small crowbar to separate the pads from the brakes. Separate the pads from the caliper with a crowbar. Clean the brake caliper with WD-40 and a wire brush. Remove the retaining pin from the caliper and take it out. Remove the pads. Use brake cleaner and a wire brush to clean the caliper support. Apply grease where the brake calipers contact the pads. Insert the pads and refit everything, starting with the brake caliper and working backwards.
