Replace the Brake Pads on Fiat Grande Punto

Replace the brake pads on a Grande Punto if worn. Here’s how to remove them. Unscrew the pins with a socket spanner and remove the wheel, then unscrew the pins of the brake caliper to detach it from the support. Use a screwdriver to detach the brake pads. Tighten the caliper support to the disc and the pads, then refit the brake caliper, ensuring all pins are tightened properly. Before refitting the wheel, bleed the brake caliper and tighten the pin. Refit the wheel onto the hub of the Fiat. Lower the car to the ground and test the braking of the new brake pads.
