How to Replace the Front Brake Pads on the Fiat Punto 188

This guide shows how to replace the front brake pads on the Fiat Punto 188. After unscrewing the brake fluid reservoir cap, unscrew the wheel bolts before lifting the vehicle. Complete the wheel removal with the vehicle lifted. Using a lever, retract the pistons and pads. Clean the caliper retaining bolt, detach the retaining pin, and lift the caliper. Clean the pad housing and fully retract the brake piston. Apply anti-squeal paste to the contact surfaces and fit the new pads. Clean the parts before refitting the wheel. Check the proper functioning of the brakes before hitting the road.
