Operation: How to replace the front brake pads on a Fiat Punto 188

The guide shows how to replace the front brake pads on the Fiat Punto 188. After unscrewing the hydraulic brake fluid cap, unscrew the front wheel fixing bolts before lifting the vehicle. Complete the removal of the wheel with the machine lifted. Using a lever, push the pistons and pads back to their retracted position. After cleaning the caliper fixing bolt, remove the retaining pin and lift the caliper. Clean the pad housing and push the brake piston to the end of its stroke. Apply anti-squeal paste to the contact surfaces and fit the new pads. Clean the parts before reassembling the wheel. Check that the brakes work properly before taking to the road.
