How to remove the mirror glass on a Fiat Grande Punto? Follow these steps: using a plastic or rubber-coated spatula, carefully pry between the perimeter of the mirror frame and the mirror glass. Apply leverage until the glass detaches from the mirror; this is a delicate operation as the glass or the mirror itself may break.

Once the damaged mirror glass is removed, disconnect the power connector for the glass, pressing on the locking clips to detach the mirror cover. Finally, replace the damaged piece with the new one.
