Fiat Punto - Video tutorial
Model: Fiat Punto
MK 2, 188
- Years 1999-2011 How to remove a rear brake cylinder on Fiat Punto? Let's see how to proceed: we position the car on a column bridge, loosen the pins with a telescopic wrench and lift to a comfortable height to intervene. We unscrew the pins and remove the rim, then, we begin to unscrew the pins of the wheel hub (with a socket wrench) by detaching it from its support. Let's get ready to remove the cylinder next to the parking brake shoes on the wheel hub as shown in the video. We use brushes to remove all the dirt and residues from the disassembled pieces. Before assembly, lubricate the pieces as shown in the video. We put grease on the pins and prepare all the pieces for assembly; we mount the new brake cylinder and the related pins. We lay the rim into the wheel hub and screw all the pins, put the car on the ground.
