How to Replace the MAP Sensor on a Fiat 500 Abarth

The MAP sensor on the Fiat 500 Abarth is located under the airbox, on the intake manifold. To replace it, remove the airbox: detach the intake hose using three clips and lift the entire box. Disconnect the electrical connector by pressing the side latch. The sensor is secured with a Torx T25 screw, but the space is tight: to reach it, remove the oil tube (dipstick) and unscrew the wiring bracket, moving it slightly. Use a Torx T25 screwdriver and a magnetic pick-up tool to avoid losing the screw. Once the old sensor is removed, clean the seat and insert the new one with the O-ring. You can find it on eBay with code 277430476236 for £57.89, including delivery charges. Tighten the screw, reconnect the connector, and reassemble everything in reverse order.
