How to Resolve the Hill Holder Error on the Fiat 500 Abarth

When the Hill Holder on the Fiat 500 Abarth is not functioning, the risk of accidents increases. The vehicle, which usually reaches high speeds in an instant, may experience stability issues. The control unit fails to recognise the vehicle's speed, causing it to skid and lose or gain power without the driver's control. In these cases, it is necessary to replace the sensor. With the engine off and the battery disconnected, get inside the vehicle and replace the sensor by unscrewing the nuts that secure it to the dashboard and disconnecting the connector. After replacement, the vehicle may not immediately recognise the new sensor, so it will be necessary to perform a diagnostic check and register the new sensor with the control unit.

How to Open the Bonnet on the Lancia Y
