How to Change the Air Filter on the Fiat Panda

To replace the engine air filter on the Fiat Panda, park the car on a level surface, turn off the engine, and wait for it to cool. Open the bonnet and locate the air filter box (airbox), which is the plastic container connected to the intake pipe. Unclip or unscrew the fasteners on the cover (depending on the model) and lift the top of the airbox just enough to free the filter element. Carefully extract the old air filter, ensuring no dirt falls into the box. If you find dust or debris, clean the inside of the airbox with a slightly damp cloth or compressed air used gently, avoiding pushing dirt into the duct. Insert the new filter, ensuring it is oriented correctly and fits snugly around the perimeter without folds or gaps. Close the airbox cover, reattach the clips or screws, and check that the box is perfectly sealed. Start the engine and check for any unusual vibrations or air leaks around the airbox area.
