What is presented in the video is a known and documented problem with the Firefly 1.0, 1.2, and 1.3 engines installed in the Fiat Panda III, 500, and Tipo. An oil leak occurs that does not come from the oil seal or the cylinder head, but from a casting plug on the engine block, located on the left side of the engine, near the engine mount and the alternator pulley. It is not a true threaded plug, but a mechanical sealing plug, used as a vent for the casting gallery, which leaks due to a design or manufacturing defect, so much so that Fiat/Stellantis has issued a modified replacement part to resolve it definitively: it is a threaded plug and no longer a push-fit one.
