How to Change the Number Plate Lights on a Fiat Punto Evo

Model: Fiat Punto MK 3, Punto EVO, 199, Grandepunto - Years 2005-2018

If the display on your Fiat Punto Evo shows "Check number plate lights", one or both bulbs are burnt out. To replace them, you need to remove the number plate (by unscrewing the screws holding it) to access the bulb holder. The bulb holder is clipped underneath and needs to be released by turning it half a turn. Disconnect the electrical connector and replace the burnt-out bulb. Refit the bulb holder and screw the number plate back on. Repeat for the other side. Turn on the ignition to check that the "Check number plate lights" message has disappeared. This is a very easy job that takes just a few minutes.
