How to Change the Battery on a Fiat 500

To change the battery on a Fiat 500, turn off the engine and remove the keys. Open the bonnet and locate the battery, usually on the passenger side. Disconnect the negative (-) cable first, then the positive (+) cable for safety. Remove the securing bracket and carefully lift out the old battery. Clean any residue or corrosion on the terminals with a wire brush. Insert the new battery, ensuring it is properly seated, and reattach the bracket. Reconnect the positive (+) cable first, then the negative (-) cable. Check that the terminals are tight and try to start the engine to verify proper operation.
