How to disconnect the fan resistor on a Fiat Grande Punto? Use a lever to remove the plastic cover under the dashboard where the central tunnel is (right side of the tunnel), and use a screwdriver to undo the cover (where the resistor is located). Disconnect the large connector for the resistor power supply, then extract it from the cabin. Insert a new fan resistor into the designated space (connect the power supply connector). Finally, reassemble the cover and tighten the screws. Test the correct operation of the system.
