How to Replace Brake Pads and Discs on a Fiat Punto

Today, I will show you how to replace the brake pads and discs on your Fiat Punto. With a bit of effort, you can do it yourself. First, unscrew the front bolts to release the brake caliper and then remove the clip holding the caliper. Next, unscrew the bolts that keep the brake caliper tightly closed to free the pads so you can pull them out. Now, push the pistons all the way in using a screwdriver. Once done, you can insert the new pads (ensure they are correctly positioned and properly seated). Before refitting the caliper onto the disc, change the disc. To do this, simply unscrew the central bolt and pull it out. Sand down the area where the new disc will sit, then insert the new disc and secure it by tightening the central bolt. Repeat the same operation on the other wheel.
