Removing Door Panel on Fiat Punto

Model: Fiat Punto MK 2, 188 - Years 1999-2011

Using a 5 mm Allen key, remove the trim around the internal handle by pulling it towards you. With a crosshead screwdriver, remove the 5 screws at the bottom that secure the panel to the metal frame. Use a flat screwdriver to remove the cover of the speaker housing, where you will find three screws to unscrew (the triangular support for the speaker will detach). Remove the cover of the rear-view mirror by first taking off the plastic cap and then unscrewing the screw inside. One last screw is hidden under a plastic cap at the end of the door; remove it and unscrew. Use a flat screwdriver to pry between the plastic and the bodywork to remove the panel. At this point, use a utility knife to remove the plastic insulating cover. To reassemble, it will be necessary to glue it. Perform the operations in reverse order for reassembly.
