Today, you will learn how to remove the drum and rear shoes from a second series Fiat Punto. First, lift the vehicle and remove the rear wheel by unscrewing its bolts; then, using a socket wrench, unscrew the screws of the drum and remove it by levering on the sides with something thin.

Once the drum is removed, detach the brake shoes and replace them with new ones: to do this, release the retaining spring and the two hooks, as illustrated in the video. Before refitting the new ones, clean the area and then refit the drum.

How to Reset the Tire Pressure Light on a MG ZS?
