Replacement of Manual Gearbox Oil

Lift the vehicle on a hydraulic lift and locate the oil drain plug on the gearbox: the plug is at the rear of the gearbox, near the mount; unscrew the plug after placing a container to collect the used oil. The fill plug is located at the front of the gearbox and is easier to access from the engine bay; once the fill plug is unscrewed, use a funnel with a piece of hose attached to the end to facilitate the insertion of new oil: when oil begins to spill from the plug, the level is reached.
