Loosen the bolts of the affected rear wheel, lift the vehicle and unscrew them completely by removing the wheel. Unscrew the two drum fasteners. Get into the car and unscrew the four 10 mm bolts that secure the plastic around the handbrake, as shown in the video. Once it has been removed, unscrew the bolt located behind the handbrake. Screw two bolts into the front plate of the drum and remove it. Remove the lower brake shoe return spring, then remove both shoes from the mounting bracket. Install the brake shoes on the working cylinder on the bracket and on the bracket of the brake support plate.

Reset Service on Lancia Ypsilon
