How to Adjust the Handbrake on a Fiat Panda?

To adjust the handbrake on a Fiat Panda, first remove the plastic cover located at the back of the handbrake, between the two seats. A bolt will be visible beneath a cross bracket that needs to be loosened or tightened to adjust the handbrake tension. Turning the bolt clockwise will make the handbrake tighter with a shorter travel. Loosening it will result in a wider travel and a lighter handbrake. After adjusting to your needs, reinstall the plastic cover.
