Has the handbrake on your car lost its firmness? Let’s see how to adjust the handbrake on a Fiat Panda. Start by lowering the handbrake by clicking it all the way down so you can loosen or tighten the nut located under the plastic lever of the handbrake as shown in the video. Tighten if you want to increase the firmness of the handbrake lever and loosen if you want the opposite. Always test until you achieve the right firmness. If the handbrake lever does not provide the correct firmness, it may be necessary to replace the brake pads or the cable. The ideal position for the lever is four clicks.
