How to Replace the Diesel Filter on the Fiat Punto Evo

To replace the diesel filter on the Fiat Punto Evo, start by opening the bonnet, spray some cleaner, and then remove it with compressed air; take special pliers and disconnect the two clips from the diesel pipes; using a 10 mm socket, unscrew the bolt that secures the diesel filter, remove it, and disconnect the connector. Once the filter is disconnected, unscrew the cap where the connector is, allowing the diesel to drain into a container, remove the old sealing ring from the cap; place the new sealing ring on the old cap and screw it onto the new filter; now reconnect the connector to the filter and secure it to the bracket by tightening the bolt with a 10 mm socket; finally, reconnect the pipes to the new filter and the operation is complete.
