In this brief video tutorial, see how to replace the rear shock absorbers on a second-generation Fiat Punto, produced from 1999 to 2011. First, pull the handbrake, lift the rear of the car, and remove the wheel. Now, using a jack, loosen the shock absorber arm to better access its mounting bolts. Once done, use a 15mm socket to remove the upper bolt of the shock absorber, then use an 18mm socket to remove the lower bolt. Now you can take out the shock absorber, so fit a new one by following the procedure in reverse to complete the job.
