In this video, see how to replace the logo on the Grande Punto and perform minor bodywork repairs. First, check for any small rust spots. Isolate them with masking tape and use 1000 grit sandpaper to remove the rust. If the metal is exposed, apply a drop of anti-rust primer. If possible, speed up the drying with a hairdryer. While this dries, focus on the logo. Heat it with the hairdryer to loosen it. Use a plastic lever to remove the old logo. Remove the adhesive with a rubber wheel mounted on a drill, then degrease with a silicone remover. Now, apply the new logo. You may have purchased it on Amazon for £16.99, delivery included. First, heat the metal to improve adhesion, then remove the backing from the adhesive tape and stick it on. Now return to the rust spot: smooth the primer with 1000 grit sandpaper and water, and clean with silicone remover. Apply a first and then a second coat of paint, followed by a clear coat. Finally, polish the entire rear bonnet with hard paste and pad. Then switch to medium paste and pad. Finish with a polishing compound.
