If the buttons on the Fiat Panda remote control do not work, it is not necessarily the battery's fault.

Model: Fiat Panda 169, MK 2 - Years 2003-2012
Part: Key

If the remote control of the Fiat Panda does not work, it is not necessarily the fault of the remote control. In the case we see in this video, the problem is the worn rubber buttons, as the contact works normally. In fact, the YouTuber removed the rubber buttons and was able to see that the contact works normally, the problem is only the rubber button. A good spray of contact cleaner (but WD-40 is also fine) to see if the problem is resolved, but unfortunately, this time it doesn't work. We can find the three replacement rubber buttons (with the 12.5 mm trunk opening button) on eBay with code 403783416460 for 1.79 euros (+ 2.60 euros for shipping). Using a flathead screwdriver, we remove the rubber buttons and put the new ones back in place, as they simply snap into place. Job done!

Removing the Battery from a Citroen Xsara Picasso

How to replace the battery in a Citroen Xsara Picasso? This video explains how to remove the battery. Open the car door and lift the driver's seat; the battery is located underneath it (in other cars, it is commonly found in the engine bay). Remove the plastic cover of the battery cover, and begin unscrewing the securing bolts of the battery terminals with the appropriate socket wrench. Remove the old battery using the plastic handle and fit a new one, tightening the power terminals. Close the battery compartment and lower the driver's seat.
