In this tutorial, you will see how to replace the gear gaiter on a Fiat 500, a very simple and quick operation. First, locate the slot that divides the knob in half, then lever it off with a flat-head screwdriver to separate the upper half of the knob. Next, undo the bolt using a 10 mm spanner, remove the lower half of the knob, detach the base of the gaiter from the centre console, and turn it completely inside out to cut the internal plastic tie. Once the gaiter is removed from the rod, follow the reverse procedure to reassemble everything.
