Replacing Spark Plug Leads

Model: Fiat Punto MK 2, 188 - Years 1999-2011
Part: Spark plugs

Over time, the spark plug leads can deteriorate, so to replace them, start by disconnecting the negative terminal of the battery. Remove the three screws from the air filter and take it out. Unscrew the screws of the engine air box and disconnect the air hose by removing the clamp. If you do not have the original clamps, you can replace it with a traditional hose clamp. Remove the air box and disconnect the first lead by taking off the boot from the first spark plug, then detach the lead from the supports and completely pull the lead from the coil connector. Replace the leads one at a time to avoid incorrect positioning. Incorrect installation can lead to engine malfunction.
