If the rear light bulbs do not illuminate, it is likely that there is an oxidation issue with the power connector of the light itself. You will need to remove the light, which is a very simple procedure.

Just open the rear hatch and unscrew the two fixing screws located on the upper trim. Once the screws are removed, rotate the top of the light to extract the two lower tabs and pull it away enough to disconnect the plug.

At this point, remove the oxidation from the contacts with the appropriate spray and check the condition of the bulbs before reassembling.
