Replace the Worn Battery in a Ford Focus Key Fob

Replace the worn battery in a Ford Focus key fob by following these simple steps. Take your key fob and press the metal key release button. Once the metal key is out, use a screwdriver to pry between the two covers of the key (in the space where the metal key fits). Pry until the cover opens, then remove the worn battery with a small screwdriver. Take a new battery of the same size and voltage. Refit the cover onto your key fob by pressing on the key case until you hear it click into place. If the cover is damaged, replace it with a new one. Check the proper functioning of the key fob by pressing the buttons.
