Over the years, car manufacturers, therefore not only Ford and not only Kuga, have adopted oil sumps made of polymeric material (let's not call it plastic, at least). It was a design choice that was introduced gradually: it aims to reduce weight and costs, while offering greater resistance to corrosion. However, long-term durability and impact resistance remain the main concerns for most owners and industry professionals. If the materials used are of high quality and the design and production processes are rigorous, oil sumps made of plastic material could prove to be reliable in the long term; however, concerns about premature damage or leakage problems are legitimate. Only time will tell us how valid this solution is.

How to Repair the Key Spring of the Peugeot 207?

Over time, frequent use of the key's flip mechanism in the vehicle, dozens of times a day, inevitably leads to wear of the internal spring.
