Let's see in this video how to proceed: lift the bonnet and put it in safety (unscrew the top-up cap), then, lift the car on a column or jack bridge; unscrew the pin of the oil pan: let the liquid flow into a container for disposal and screw the pin of the oil pan back on. With a strap wrench we unscrew the oil filter and remove it (we assemble the new piece). Finally, top up with the new liquid, measure the oil level with the metal rod several times until the ideal measurement is reached.

How do you replace the battery of the BMW R 1250 GS?

In order to replace the battery of the BMW R 1250 GS it is necessary to loosen the bolts that secure the casing positioned on the left side of the bike, so that its cover can be removed. Once this has been removed, you will be able to access the components below, including the battery. The latter must be removed from its housing by disconnecting the power cables and unscrewing the appropriate fixing bolts. In this way it will be possible to insert a new battery, properly fixing it and connecting it to the relative cables, covering everything with the casing.
