Replacing the worn oil filter on a Ford Kuga? Here's how to remove it. Open the car door and pull up the engine compartment release lever located at the bottom left of the dashboard, then lift the front bonnet. Locate the oil filter. Using a socket spanner, unscrew the large securing bolt of the container cap where the oil filter is located. Remove the engine cover panel if necessary. Extract the worn oil filter and position a new one. Lift the car on a jack and unscrew the bolt of the oil sump (if you want to replace the oil); let the fluid drain into a container. Refill with new fluid and close the bonnet of the Kuga.
