Learn how to replace the sliding door handle of a Ford Transit: remove the inner panel to access the back of the handle, where you will find the 10 mm nut and the release cable connected to the handle; loosen the nut and disconnect the cable by rotating the plate upwards; this will allow you to slide the cable out of its seat.

This way, you can remove the handle from the outside.

Insert the new handle from the outside, manoeuvring the internal metal part to get it into position; reconnect the cable by inserting the pin into the plate and clicking it into place.

Tighten the nut, ensuring that the plastic pin that prevents rotation is correctly aligned in the hole. Test the operation and refit the inner panel.
