How to reset the service light on a Ford Tourneo or Transit

Let's see how to reset the service light on a Ford Tourneo or Transit with a manual transmission. With the vehicle off, press the brake and accelerator pedals simultaneously. While holding down both pedals, turn on the instrument panel. Wait 10/20 seconds until we see the oil life percentage reset to 100% (or the maintenance message disappears). Release the pedals and turn off the panel. Upon restarting, the warning will be gone. For vehicles with an automatic transmission, the procedure is the same but with an additional precaution to avoid starting: with the vehicle off, turn on the instrument panel, and while it's on, press the brake and accelerator pedals simultaneously. Wait for the reset for 10/20 seconds and then release the pedals.
