Video tutorial
The values provided in this video are applicable for rear-wheel drive (RWD) Ford Transit models and not for the Transit Connect, which has front-wheel drive. This procedure can also be found in the official workshop manuals. After the final tightening, ensure that the hub rotates freely before refitting the wheel and brakes. The procedure consists of three stages: the first tightening is done to 70 ft-lbs (approximately 90 Nm), then loosen the nut by turning it 180° (half a turn). Finally, tighten to 25 ft-lbs (approximately 34 Nm). For the final check, ensure the hub rotates freely without any unusual friction and verify there is no axial play. The rear hub nut on the Transit is not a standard hexagon but has a 4-point profile, requiring a specific tool: CTA tools code 1083, available at it.Jbtools.com with the following codes: MPN: 1083 SKU: JB-CTA-1083 | UPC: 053001010837 for £67.99, shipping costs calculated at checkout.

Frequently Asked QuestionsWhat does error code 59 indicate on the Opel Meriva B?
Error code 59 appears on the display of the 2012 Opel Meriva B when it is necessary to open and close the driver's side window. To remove the code, simply open and close the window. This code is always followed by error code 60, which indicates the need to open and close the passenger side window. These error codes typically appear after maintenance has been performed on the battery. If the error message continues to display despite reprogramming the windows, visit a workshop as a computer diagnosis may be necessary. by ScegliAuto More videos
