Replacing the Key Fob Battery on a Ford Fiesta

In today's video, we will see how to replace the battery in the key fob of various Ford models. First, obtain a new 2032 battery rated at 12 volts: it is advisable to use a high-quality battery to increase its lifespan. To replace it, open the fob by prying it apart with something sharp in the side slot of the key: then you can extract the battery for replacement, prying at the sides without breaking the fob casing. For reassembly, simply insert the battery in the correct orientation and snap the two halves of the fob back together!
