How to Remove the External Wing Mirror from a Ford Focus

Model: Ford Focus MK 2, Focus 2 - Years 2004-2011

Before you can start, open the front door of your Ford Focus and fully lower the window. Begin by disengaging and removing the cover located near the wing mirror, using a thin but sturdy plastic tool to lever it off. This will expose the internal cover of the wing mirror bolts, which you will need to remove by unscrewing the relevant screws and disconnecting the electrical connector. Once you have also removed the internal cover, you will reach the bolts that secure the wing mirror, which must also be unscrewed and removed. After completing this step, connect the wing mirror plug, then extract the wing mirror itself, and you will have finished the removal.
