Battery Replacement on Ford Transit

Model: Ford Transit MK 7 - Years 2006-2014

Slide the passenger seat forward as far as possible and remove the cover underneath: this is where the batteries are located. Unscrew the nut that secures the negative terminal (always start with the negative terminal if possible) and cover it with a plastic cap for safety reasons. If your model has two batteries, unscrew and disconnect both negative terminals first, followed by both positive terminals. After disconnecting the positive terminal, unscrew all the bolts securing the battery and remove it. Insert the new battery, screw in the bolts and nuts, and reconnect the terminals.
