Removing the Wing on a Ford Focus

Model: Ford Focus MK 2, Focus 2 - Years 2004-2011

Detach the plastic cover on the front pillar, near the mirror, using a screwdriver or a plastic trim tool. Then remove the now exposed screw that was behind that plastic. Lift the car with a jack and, working from underneath, unscrew the bolts securing the wing near the wheel, as shown in the video. Also, raise the bonnet to work with more manoeuvring space, using the support rod. Once all the screws are removed, you can simply pull off the wing by hand and fit the new one in the same manner.

How to Open the Bonnet on the Lancia Y
