Replacement of Rear Brake Light Bulb

Model: Ford Focus MK 1 - Years 1998-2004

To replace the rear brake light bulb, you need to remove the light unit: open the boot and unscrew the three plastic nuts that secure the light to the bodywork, pull the light away from its housing and disconnect the bulb holder (bayonet fitting); then extract the bulb from the holder by simply pulling it out (T5 fitting), insert the new bulb, reconnect the bulb holder and refit the light unit by tightening the securing nuts. If you notice a difference in brightness between the newly replaced bulb and the other light, it is advisable to replace the latter as well.
