First, ensure the vehicle is off, engage the parking brake, and open the hood using the appropriate lever. The battery box is located on the right side. First, use a Torx screwdriver to remove the bolt securing the negative terminal. Once the negative terminal bolt is removed, proceed to remove the bolt securing the positive terminal. Now, first remove the negative connector, which is black, and then the positive connector, which is red. Finally, remove the mounting screws that hold the battery to a bracket so you can take it out.
