To remove the front headlight from the Ford Focus, open the bonnet to access the two bolts securing the light unit from the top. Once these bolts are removed, you can slide the headlight out of its housing, disconnecting the connector inside. This way, the piece can be completely removed, allowing the new headlight to be connected to the connector and inserted back into its housing.

Finally, screw the bolts back in at the top, and you can close the bonnet.
