To adjust the handbrake of a Ford B-Max, let's go inside the car and notice that under the handbrake we find a nut that we can loosen or unscrew with the 10 wrench (to find the nut you have to remove the insert it in the handbrake part, lift it and slide it backwards to remove it completely); now let's check the number of clicks that the handbrake lever takes and we notice that in the video it takes 8 with the handbrake fully pulled; to correctly adjust the handbrake (which normally should take 5/6 clicks), in this case that there are drum brakes at the rear we go directly to the rear from the drums. We remove the tire, unscrew the screw that holds the drum (note that you have to adjust when the drum comes off easily), near the cylinder of the jaws, there is a plate that adjusts the handbrake; with a slotted screwdriver, make 5 clicks inside the plate, check that the drum enters with a little resistance, remove the drum and give a pass of abrasive paper on the jaws and inside the drum; remove the rust on the hub and inside the drum, spread some copper grease, put the drum back and carry out the same operation on the other side. Now let's go inside the car, check the clicks that the handbrake lever makes and notice that it makes 5 clicks pulled to the maximum; finally we put the tires back on and we can do a test ride. By doing so, the registration is completed.
